
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
Grades K-2nd – 1) RCS must be furnished with copies of student’s birth certificate, an updated immunization record, current report card and copy of last achievement test (if applicable). 2) Student must be tested and results must show student at grade level.
3) Interview with elementary principal for student and parents.
Grades 3rd –6th – 1) RCS must be furnished with copies of student’s current report card, current immunization record and copy of last achievement test. 2) Possibility of testing, based on the decision of the elementary principal. 3) Interview with elementary principal for student and parents.
Grades 7th-12th – 1) RCS must be furnished with copies of student’s current report card, copy of last achievement test and current immunization records. 2) Students must be tested and results must show student at grade level. 3) Interview with the jr./sr. high principal for students and parents. 4) 10th –12th ONLY-RCS must receive a copy of transcripts from previous school(s).
When the application packet along with all required documents (this includes testing results, if applicable) is turned in to the chapel office, it will be forwarded to the proper administrator for review. The final decision for admission is usually made during the family interview. The appropriate administrator makes all admission decisions and all decisions are final.
Once RCS has received the registration application and application fee you have TWO weeks to turn in all required paperwork along with the registration fee. If this is not received within this time frame your student will be removed from the class list.
