Elementary Academics

Academically, elementary students take part in specialized supplemental subjects taught by the RCS faculty, including:

Music - Mrs. Joy DeWoody, Mrs. Danielle Brown, Mr. Don Riojas

Elementary Music Appreciation provides elementary students with performance experience with opportunity to participate in the many musicals at RCS each year. Students are also exposed to the compositions of classical composers and other more contemporary composers.

Computer - Mrs. Janelle Meisel

Weekly computer instruction in applications is offered for third thru sixth grade. Computer lab activities consist of instruction in skill building as well as multimedia projects and Internet based research.

Physical Education - Mrs. Becky Cass

P.E. is a time for students to learn basic skills, drills, and team play, including many units of team sports and games.
