How Elementary Class Rosters are Set

When establishing the class rosters, the elementary principal uses the following criteria:

      1. Returning student's parent's request, if any, for a specific teacher, according to the date and order of paid registration
      2. Recommendation, if any, of the student's previous RCS teacher for class placement (because of behavior, personality, which students must be separated from each other, etc.)
      3. Special considerations and assessment by the elementary principal
      4. Remaining new and non-placed returning students are assigned a preliminary position on a class roster (boy-girl balance, information gathered by the elementary principal at the time of the new family interview, etc.)
      5. While every attempt is made to accommodate parents' wishes, it should be understood by all parents that the overall good of the class and the quality of Christian education takes precedence. The final class placement will be made by the elementary principal.
